SKE boards 'Mr. Morgan's Last Love'

Sidney Kimmel Entertainment originates aboard to co-finance and co-produce "Mr. Morgan's Last Love," starring Michael Caine. SKE leader Jim Tauber made the announcement Monday. Pic began shooting now in Paris. "Mr. Morgan's Last Love" is modified within the novel "La Douceur assassine" by Francoise Dorner. German author-director Sandra Nettlebeck -- whose credits include "Helen" and "Mostly Martha" -- is helming from her script. German production companies Bavaria Pictures, Kaminski Stiehm Film and Senator Film will co-produce with Belgium-based Scope Pictures and Sidney Kimmel Entertainment, in colaboration with Elzevir Films of France. Sidney Kimmel may even produce. SKE is repping domestic distribution of "Last Love," and foreign pre-sales are addressed by Bavaria Film Intl. The film also stars Clemence Poesy, Justin Kirk, Jane Alexander, Anne Alvaro and Gillian Anderson. Occur Paris, "Last Love" concentrates on a outdated, lonely American widower whose chance encounter getting a totally free-spirited and youthful French lady cheers his existence. SKE's other production and co-financing deals include "One for the investment,In . produced with Lakeshore Entertainment "Gone," produced with Lakeshore and Summit Entertainment "Parker," produced with Sierra/Affinity and Incentive Shot Entertainment "The Region Beyond the Pines" and "I, Frankenstein," produced with Lakeshore.
