Is the soundtrack to the film "Death Rides a Horse" (aka Da uomo a uomo) in the public domain?

The film is a 1967 spaghetti western that has "lapsed into public
domain." This means the film is free to use in any way, shape, or
form for commercial use. But I am wondering if the soundtrack to the
film, composed by Ennio Morricone is also in the public domain to be
used for commercial use without any permission.
