'War' to sneak on Tuesday

With increased effective-than-anticipated monitoring for Sony's "The Vow," last century Fox has repositioned romantic comedy "This Means War" to experience a single-screening sneak at roughly 2,500 locations on Valentine's, getting a large release now planned for Feb. 17. Studio initially made the decision to create "War" wide on Feb. 14, but made a decision to assist distance the pic from "The Vow," which bows on Friday. Fox mentioned "War" will still be capable of take full advantage of Valentine's buzz, striving to create word-of-mouth next days. In addition, the film's modified PG-13 rating might help attract teenage audiences. Lately, Fox trimmed a few dirty jokes from "War" to get the MPAA to lessen its original R rating.
