'Flashpoint' illuminates Ion TV

Ion Television is purchasing more instances of "Flashpoint," the Canadian police drama it acquired this past year. The series is created by Pink Sky and Avamar in colaboration with Canuck broadcaster CTV. Ion will join their email list of producers for that series' fifth season. "Flashpoint" started airing off-internet on Ion in October and also the network obtained care of with the series' previous four seasons as production on season five starts in Feb. The network -- formerly Pax, i quickly -- is strengthening its rerun-heavy selection with content audiences haven't seen before, and "Flashpoint" has produced encouraging rankings during the last couple of several weeks.
